Our Couch is getting used! Our main requirement for guests - Just don't be boring! We featured almost 40 musical guests in '09 and aside from not being boring we have listened to the talent get better and better each year. So this is the time of year we give back to those who have entertained us in 2009.
Penthouse Topic: Q's House Artist of the Year, Orange Avenue, will be in studio. We’ve seen them through a name change and image shuffle and now they're ready to have the world tune in and sing along. Q caught up with our best Acoustic Performance winner Jenn Grinels after a gig, drank a few beers and tried to sound smart. Did it work?
OutHouse Topic: We have audio of President Obama "singing" a cover of the Beatles' tune, Taxman. In honor of some of our Internet and FM stations we'll celebrate Australia Day! (Like the 4th of July but with more grilled shrimp).
We'll play music from the talented runner's up and talk to our judges, sponsors, and usual residents in attendance. It's a celebration of music as we reward the folks who make our lives a little better by putting our emotions into song. |
