England are in the better position for the moment in the second Test, but this match has a long way to go yet. The way that England has fallen apart in the second innings, it is not looking so good for it. I think Australia will win this match, with Warne Man of the Match - despite his batting - and then do on to win all the ohter Tests. The only thing that will stop Australia is English rain. Australia's bad sessions are the exception while England's good sessions are the exception. Teams can't win matches, let alone series like that. |

| Flintoff is man of the match!!! Even if England lose this test, he has played an outstanding game batting and bowling. Its not going to be an easy 2nd innings for Aus, (I Hope)....we can still pull it off!!! |

End of the third day and it's a turd day for Australia. Yes, it looks as though Flintoff will be man of the match. The only one who could take it from him is Warney - because of, not in spite of, his batting.
I think the Australian team must be trying to build up their price. McGrath steps on a ball and is out for two matches. Must be a set-up. Am I one-eyed or what?
Honestly folks, it does appear that England is at long last making a real contest of the Ashes. Good to see and good luck to them. It will be very good for cricket. |

| Damn good match.....really thought England had thrown it away again. Could not believe how close it was. Australia really showed guts this morning. Truely a match to remember! |

After watching the latest Ashes test match at Old Trafford, I can only take my hat off to the Aussies who forght like dogs causing the match to end in 'the mother of all draws'.
The determination of Ricky Ponting certainly saved Australia from a certain defeat! 1 a piece in the Ashes series, with 2 to play.......probably one of the best fights England has given Australia in donkeys years!

| Bit too close for comfort again. 2-1 to England with 1 match to go. Who have you got your money on? |

Best cricket I have ever seen, ( especially, the best best I have ever seen England play). In the words of Vinnie Jones, "It's been emotional".
What ever the Aussies say about the game, England gave you guys a real game.....for once!! |
